Musings

We have lived in NC for 2.5 years now...and I've learned a few things...

1) To "cut on the lights" has absolutely nothing to do with scissors.

2) Most employees of fast food drive thru's are exceptionally courteous.

3) It's just as hot and humid here as in the midwest.

4) The dirt is red.

5) You start droppin' your ing's pretty quick around here.

6) Livermush...enough said.

7) The whole town shuts down when it snows (which isn't often)...so fun!

8) Like Ruth in the Bible I get to glean in the sweet potato fields...seriously.

9) The insects seem enormous!

10) And lastly, I have learned that God is faithful...faithful to provide work, friends, and most importantly faithful to love me when it would seem at times I am unlovable.
