Nathan and Cameron visit the fire house
As I write this I am sitting on my front porch enjoying the afternoon. Such a pretty fall day. Presently Nathan is standing on a tree stump hollering "I jump!" over and over. ( a spider was crawling on my neck just now!!! Oohhh, I don't like those creatures at all. I'm sure the neighbors got a good laugh with me dancing on the porch like a maniac. I still have the willys...hope his brother isn't around...)
The boys and I went to the fire house this past Friday to tour with the mom's group. How fun! There were 13 kids plus moms. The fire fighters were wonderful! They gave us over an hour tour and one of the fire trucks had to go to a medical emergency while we were there! Nathan stood at the window and told the fire fighters bye bye. The group posed for a picture with the fire fighters at the end of the morning. A sweet fire fighter held Cameron for me as I snapped a picture. When we were finished I started talking to one of the moms...and completely forgot about Cameron! Another of the ladies asked the man if he had kids and was going to take Cameron until I came to my senses at that very moment. How embarrassing!!
Cameron and his fireman.
Nathan in the fire
truck.
Nate begged the fireman to
"Please help, please help!"
And down he went.
The whole gang.

Chad has been out of town twice this month. I don't think I would mind so much if it wasn't for the kids. Yes, I know this sounds bad, but the boys must be very aware that mommy is doing this parenting thing on her own for a few days, and they step it up a notch! Come home soon, Baby! This mama needs a break. I shouldn't complain, I do have great boys. Times apart like this remind me just how blessed I am to have Chad in my life. Love ya Chad.

I understand about the traveling, and it is SO hard. However, some of greatest lessons of faith and leaning on God have been learned during those hard times. I will be praying for you! You are an amazing woman! Remember "When I am weak, then I am strong."
