Today was our first day of school...Sunday School, that is. Chad and I are teaching a rambunchous group of fourth grade boys. We did get through the lesson, learned their names, and went over the memory verse even though they tested us on every turn. Oh no boys, we are not going anywhere! In fact, we will be back next week armed and ready to bestow the love of Jesus on each one of you! Wether you like it or not (grrr). If they actually learned anything, well, that remains to be seen. All kidding aside, I think we will like teaching as a team.
On to other news...Nathan had his first real haircut Saturday. And by real I mean Daddy used the clippers. Mama was a bit nervous but it turned out pretty good. Well done Chad! I'll post a picture a little later.
The Bruza clan has been under the weather this past week. Summer head colds and an ear infection (poor Nate) have kept us cooped up all week. I will be relieved to get back on schedule tomorrow. I'm even off to the YMCA! My friend Paige is getting married in November and I need to fit into the pretty dress she picked out. I'll post pictures of the blessed event in Nov.
My babies moved up today in Sunday School--both of them:( If I had my way they would never have graduated out of the baby nursery...but Nate was so proud of the pretty picture he made today that I am glad he is growing into a sweet little boy. Cameron is moving so well these days that he can scoot across the room in no time to get a toy. I guess he needs to be with the older babies.
We are much closer to painting our house. We now have paint swatches and will decide on the right colors this week. Butter and Sand #3 are the top picks so far. I am so excited! I can hardly wait to show everybody the new living room and kitchen. I've even ordered art work and purchased some pretty pictures for the walls. We havn't painted since we lived in IL, so this is a big deal:) I will feel more settled once we have all this done. Oh, and we are hopefully getting a piano tomorrow! I am super excited about this since Chad plays like an angel and it helps him de-stress. He hasn't had a piano since he left his parent's home. Sure hope it works out. I have a place carved out in my living room for it and everything!
I know this was a long post...sorry:)
Have a blessed week! Love you all. Joy
