Whew! I feel like we have been on fast forward for about 2 weeks. We had a great time visiting with family in the STL area, and are just now recovering from the fatigue:)
Nathan and Cameron were spoiled rotten by my grandparents Morley, dad, sisters, and brother. Then we had a good visit with my mom, aunt, and grandma Bea. On Chad's side we were able to visit with his grandparents, mom and dad, and great aunt. We even squeezed in a couple of short-and I mean short:( visits with friends. Chad missed seeing his brother by a few hours because he needed to get back to NC for work reasons. It was good that Nate and I saw Andrew though. Cameron went with Daddy back home early. It worked out OK. Chad's cousin, Josiah, is a wonderful boy and very responsible. He took great care of Cameron the entire day on Monday! Thank you, Josiah!
I was a little concerned about sending the baby home with Chad, but they both did great. I hadn't realized until we were preparing to send off Chad and Cameron to the airport that it was my first overnight separation with Cameron. I was a little sad and way ready to see him when we got home. Little rascal didn't miss me though. He was perfectly content to be kept fed and dry, no matter who he was with.
I do have to say Nathan has grown up alot lately. He is saying more two and three word sentences and seems to add words to his vocab daily. Grammy Lynn cut his hair and now he looks like a little man. Nate loved the swimming pools back home. "wah-ter" ! I bought a wading pool we are hoping to set up tomorrow if it doesn't rain.
Sorry there aren't pics with this post. You all know my story by now...Chad hasn't loaded them to my computer yet, and I have no clue where to start. So I'll get a slide show together this evening and post asap. Have a great weekend!
