Family Time

Hello to all! The Bruza family has had a whirlwind couple of weeks...this may be a long post, so be warned:)

Mr and Mrs Dayton Hartman

It was so nice to see family, we had a great visit. Rebekah, (Chad's cousin) was successfully married to Dayton Hartman. He is a very godly man and they are so happy together. I believe the plan is for Dayton to pursue his doctorate in apologetics this year. He is a few months younger than me and has great things going for him. Congrats you two! It was a beautiful wedding. The reception was at her parents home. Everything was spectacular.

Philip, Katie, and the nephews

Chad's brothers, sister in law, and parents were at our house for the wedding. It was like a zoo around here! We had a full size bed set up in both the boys rooms, an air mattress in the living room, and Cameron was set like a king in our closet.

Nate and his Poppy

Father's day was special with Chad, his dad, and grandpa (Papa) all together. We had a family lunch at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Mary Ellen's house. It was a lot of fun. Chad took off Thurs and Fri to spend time with his parents. Mama Lynn was tickled pink to have more time with him. We spent Friday at the outer banks. Nate loved the waves. Funny, he is more cautious in the pool than the ocean!

Nathan had a great time getting spoiled by Grammy and Poppy. Look at his new horsey! Nate has a blast on the horse. He isn't settled into normal life yet- a little irritable and whiny at times. I guess that comes with the territory since he is nearly 2.

Yee-Haw!

Cameron gave us a scare this past week. I supplemented him with formula and he reacted to it. Hives, some difficulty breathing, vomiting, and gas. I was pretty concerned but he was back to normal after a half hour or so. We have had to supplement with soy instead of milk based formula. He is tolerating that fine. Cameron also rolled over from tummy to back! It was a great time of rejoicing until he wouldn't perform again. He hasn't rolled in either direction since that one incident. Aunt Katie is our witness, though, that he can indeed roll over! Little rascal!

Look at those red eyes!

We were able to spend time with Nana, Papa, and Aunt Shesh too. That was alot of fun. Nana really enjoyed Cameron. She fed him his first cereal last evening. That was special.

OK, so this post has taken me three days...anyone want a little redhead? Just kidding. I'll post some more pictures later. I hope everyone has a great week. God bless.

Wow what a post. That all looks very fun. It looks like Nathan had a great time on the beach. Hope to talk to you soon.
