We have been enjoying sunny and warm weather the past few days. I have my flowers planted. I will take and post a picture tomorrow. God's creation is so amazing. What a caring God to create nature for our enjoyment. Nathan saw a bunny on our walk tonight and was thrilled. I think he enjoyed watching our friend's dog even more. They sure do grow up fast.
We are looking forward to company in the next week. Chad's entire family will be with us. For a few days we will all be together until his brothers leave for work commitments. We are very excited to see them! Nathan loves to talk to Grammy and Poppy on the computer and phone.
In other news, the Bible study started off great. The ladies in the Sunday School class are so fun. We are starting in James and learning the basics of what it means to be a disciple. There are 54 commands of Christ in James, at the end I will have no excuses:) If you think of me would you pray for consistency and discipline as I work through this study? I know there will be days I won't want to do it at all. Those days I need God's grace the most! Oh the flesh and sinful nature--it sure is hard to die daily. On that note, I need to study some before bed. So goodbye for now all my friends. I love you all and 'thank God upon every remembrance of you, making mention of you in my prayers'. hey girl!! i'm so glad to hear abouthe bible study. you have really made rocky mount a home for ya'll by getting involved in chruch and making friends. i'm proud of you.
Joy, I immediately thought of the verse in 2 Cor 12 where God says "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness..." When I am week then I am strong. Thank you for your transparency - I will be praying for you.
