Two children in bed + one husband working late = a very excited mommy! Yeah! I finally get to update...someone told me today I wasn't posting enough (you know who you are, grr). Well, I guess she's right so here goes.
My house is slowly but surely getting to picture point. Sorry it's taken so long...I have limited time to organize without my little "helper". I use the term very loosely, and any one with a 20 month old will understand. Nathan's idea of helping mommy is completely destroying her currant project, no matter what it may be. A huge pile of toys or mommy's box? In his mind it is obvious which one will be the most fun. Rugrat, I think he likes to see my reaction.
I have a question. What is it about babies that the minute-no second-you put a new outfit on them they puke? Not spit up. Puke. Every stinking time. Just had to get that off my chest. My sweet bundle of joy has developed that talent lately.
It was a beautiful day today. Sunny and warm. Thank You, Lord. I was getting depressed with all the rain we have had. We played outside, I tried to weed the landscaping in the front yard (Cameron was on my chest and he didn't appreciate moving too much, so we scrapped that idea.) Our neighbor's granddaughter is 6 yrs old and a hoot. She loves to play with Nathan and he thinks it's grand to have a playmate. This little girl will talk your ear off and she knows a little about everything...well, she thinks she does anyway. I took the boys and her for a walk this afternoon. She rode her bike and I pushed Nate and Cameron. I wore her out! She asked a few times to turn around but I kept on going. She should sleep great tonight.
Well, that's all for now. Chad will be home soon and I need to fix dinner. TTFN.
