I'll just say it. Yesterday was a bad day. Nathan was a bit grouchy-teething is no fun. For those of you who are familiar with Nate he normally has a very predictable schedule. Naptime is always after lunch, about 12:30 or 1:00. Lets just say I was up in his room two times rocking, reading, and giving him medicine for his teeth. Poor guy.
During the times Nate wasn't whining Cameron kicked it up a notch. Such a good natured baby most of the time, he caught his mama off guard. By the end of the day I was sure they were conspiring against me, for sometimes they 'played' a symphony just for me.
And to top it off, we had a photo session scheduled for the evening at sears. Chad and I knew it wasn't going to work when the photographer accidently dropped a tin can on top of Nathan's head! I admit I laughed. Sure, I made sure he was ok, but I couldn't help but laugh after the day we had. The poor girl was beside herself. Needless to say we had to reschedule the appointment
As it happens, our closing on our house is delayed again. God knows why and when. I think this is a lesson in trust for me. Please remember me in prayer. Those around me have been saying how flexible I am. But they don't see my heart. To be honest, I'm a bit tired of being flexible:)
OK, enough complaining! I really am blessed. I have a wonderful family, great friends, and a loving church. Nate discovered the moon on our walk this past week. They sure do grow up fast. He kept pointing up to the sky. We realized he saw the moon and told him what it was. The rest of the way home he pointed and said "moom". So cute. I am blessed to be a mother to two sweet little boys. Cameron is getting very fat. Sometimes I think he will never stop eating. I'll post two pictures to contrast just how big he is now.
I hope everyone has a blessed week. Happy Easter:) May we always remember why we celebrate. Jesus is risen! Praise the Lord we have a way to escape eternal damnation through Jesus Christ our Savior.
